Default Repair or rebuild electrical switches/buttons?

I have 2 96 discos now and between them I have all kinds of switches that don't work. I found an AC switch on a parts car, put it in mine and now the AC works, on one of them

Is there any info out there on how to repair the Snowflake switch, Recycle switch, Fog light switch, defrost switch, etc?

They all look similar. I have some that don't click into position, some that do but don't light up.

Thank you in advance.

I actually took apart the snowflake button last night, or tried to. It has glue in it that makes it impossible to fully disassemble.

I think that a repair is out if my comfort zone/skill set.
