Honestly I didn't pay attention, may have had chrome. I've seen this on one truck, and that was about 1.5 years ago when I pulled the transfer case off it. I gave him $10 for all 4 parts because they looked cool, never saw em at a junk yard before or after on any chrome or non chrome bumpered disco. Looked a lot better then stock so I was happy lol. Wood trim was a lot better though since you can see that with the doors closed lol. Drove it to work yesterday and I'm really happy with the result, the wood trim adds a nice touch to the doors.
