I have a 1995 Disco v8,
it has now began to run very rough, it feels like its missing however i have removed all the spark plugs and the are all sparking, it is way down on power and has now blown the rocker cover gasket and is dumping oil every where.
Its is blowing heaps of smoke now, smoke even comes through the airvents, just drove 160km back from Thames and it overheated while going up the Bombay Hills, i presume because it is down on power this may have caused the overheating.
Any ideas why it is running so rough

 

stop driving it before you do some serious permanent damage. when was the last time you did a good tune up? check the discovery setion of this forum for the 60k maitenanace.
