RTV seal the crankshaft?

You can try the RTV, but it really isn't that hard to do it the right way.
If the crank pully shaft has a groove try to recess the seal so it sits on a different part of the shaft.
I talked to Mark at D&D Fabrications(D&D Fabrications: Engineering & Fabrication Services) when I did mine. He said he could resurface the shaft for about $65 I think.
