When you decide to install an after market radio, be sure to test with antenna connector before closing up. My PO installed a swanky Sony radio/CD, but used the wrong antenna lead. One side gets AM/FM, the other FM only.

I recently bought a D2 and the radio is locked. It is a NAV CD player, which I assume was original in 2003.
The local dealership gave me a 4 digit code, but the radio requires 5 digits. Do I enter 1- then the code, or code then 1?
Thanks in advance!

Back when these still had a factory warranty, they leaked a lot and did a lot of sealing of the roof around the glass. One of my trucks received a new radio because water was creeping in and dripping off the rear view directly on to the radio. Point being, there’s a fair chance the original owner had a new radio bought for them by Land Rover, in which that original radio card is no longer valid. If you had a decent first owner they would have written the new one down in the manual. I have the OG key number and radio number scribbled in the books and yours may be hidden in there too.
