Default Shiftpoints on a 1996 disco automatic?

What are the shiftpoints on a 1996 disco? My 2nd and 3rd gear shift at 3000rpm, is this normal?

Are you pushing it or just easing along? It will vary depending on how hard you are pushing it, especially if it is going uphill under load, etc.

Depends on how your shift cable is adjusted and how much throttle pressure you are applying.

When I got it the guy that had it said they put a new transmission in it and didn't have it adjusted right so it wouldn't hardly go anywhere then he said he thinks he adjusted it to tight. If I take it easy it shifts at about 2500 but that's creeping from a stop 1 st gear seem to shift of it's 2nd and 3rd when I am kind of heavy on it it will go to 3000 unless inlet off the gas a little then it will shift around 2700

I can't remember the procedure anymore, but the Rave should have it in it.
