Sometimes you can snag a good grille at the boneyard to modify, or a crummy one (they discount that ) to practice on.

Haha. The disco took it like a champ. When we went into a good lean and drug a tree SWMBO freaked. Lucky to still have a rear window. She was much better after she got over the initial breakdown LOL

Finally, pic of the double DIN installation. The Kenwood unit has a backup camera, bluetooth. DVD, MP3, Ipod interface, GPS and more. Cost me $175 new on Ebay from someone who didn't know how to test it so sold it as used.

No way I was going to pay the $700 to $1200 for a new complete name brand unit.

Got my 25" brake lines in the mail today! Got them from www.paragonperformance.com They're braided SS and you can choose what color you want the PVC jacket to be. I went with Smoke. A quick comparison on my truck and it looks like they're about 5-6" longer than my +2" Goodridge lines.
No more brake line limiting strap.
