Installed D-C front D/S and Rotoflex delete conversion in the rear... 85% less vibration!!!

The final result is a very stock looking truck which is what I was going for. If you look carefully you can see the socket for the hand control mounted in the middle bar of the grill next to the passenger side headlight. Damn, that is a very nice install! Do you know if their is enough room to mount one of those on a D1? I'd like to build a mount like that. Where did you get that one and how much was it?

2" TF MD coils, Rancho rs9000xl shocks, 285/75 (33s) and lots of cutting. And she is super flexy! I'm working on a trade for some 3" RTE springs but the 2" get the job done.

The mount is made by Terrafirma and I got it from Lucky8. I think it was right around $180 shipped. The Terrafirma website says the mount is for all Discovery models. The Terrafirma part number is TF078

I think I'm going to go with a 2" lift. I'm a bit afraid to rase the center of gravity up too much. I'm trying to decide on 31" tires or 33". I can't afford to get the springs and shocks right now so I'm thinking of getting 30mm spring spacers (and lots of cutting) to help clear the tires until I can get the lift.

Where did you get the wheels BTW? What other makes can I fit other than the stock ones? I would like to have a wider stance than I have now.

Success!!!
Stuck the one arm and attached center piece in a 12 ton press and applied pressure on the bolt. Heated just the center piece with FlameX(burns hotter than Acetylene) until it was glowing. Applied a little more pressure and the bolt got pushed out. Also got the old bushings pressed out, new ones pressed in, and a new upper ball joint pressed in. A very productive half hour lunch.

It looks awesome! I too like that look a lot.

As a side note, it appears a couple of the radiator fins got bent up a bit when you were wrestling in the winch. Next time it's open, you might straighten them as these trucks need all the cooling help they can get.

Wheels are 16x8 pro comp rock crawlers from 4 wheel parts. They are a 4.25" backspacing so it pushes them out some. I also run custom trailing arms and no sway bars. I'm trying to work out a trade for some 3" RTE HD springs. It does very well with the current set up. Should be locked up in the rear by mid next week. Can't wait to take her out and have some fun!

I will also add that running a 33" tire on stock diffs and axles takes a gentle skinny pedal and your walking a very fine line where you could very easily break any of the above parts. Gears would also be nice but its tolerable. Street use you will be fine but off road you will have to be very careful.
