Turf: I just emailed RTE about the SS Tie Rods and stuff and they said it uses stock tie rods. Are Disco and Defender tie rods interchangeable and I just didn't know it?

This is true, no difference between rods and ends BUT you can buy heavy duty tie rod ends for them which is same threads just bigger ***** and some are greaseable. And we all know how much Turf loves big greasey ***** at the end of a rod.

You can get them from Justin at L8. I got some with the QT rod kit I bought from him.

Last night - disabled ABS, installed freshly painted toolbox, dielectric grease on spark plug wire terminals, topped up all fluids, tightened bolts on Panhard rod ends.

Today - wheeling. I'm super excited.

Today: Removed sway bars, changed oil, filters, greased and checked driveline. I can tell it leans more without the sway bars, but even though I have stock suspension it doesn't feel unsafe. However, my truck is light even compared to stock since it's stripped.

I changed the oil probably 3 times within the first 500 miles of the rebuild. It's been maybe 1500-2000 miles since then. The oil was dark, but it also looked silvery in the light due to all the suspended metal particles. Old oil was Rotella 5w-40, replaced with 15w-40 since it's getting warmer out.

Had some codes return. Bank B, Cyl 4 misfire and some o2 sensors. Checked no 4 spark plug. Found a carbon trace down the insulator to ground. Cleaned tightened- much better. Replaced hose clamp on P/S res. One more little leak gone.
