So what did you do to your Disco today?
I took off the front bumper, brush guard, grill, tran oil cooler(oil is dark
) and both condenser fans. On the right fan(as you're looking at them) both right side little bolts broke, left side bottom right bolt broke. Then the screws that hold the motors are rusted tight. Might just drill them out, oh wait I don't have a drill. I tried to take off the fan clutch(done it twice without a holding tool) but now I'm unable to
. Looks like I'll be buying the holding tool, ugh.
All the rusty bolts/screws that keep breaking are discouraging.

It's cool, I got it off, I'll make a thread once I'm done(photos too) of the work. I got a lot done today. Most hoses out the way.

Agreed!
Went night wheeling. Too dark for pictures, but my new foglights worked flawlessly! Can't say I "wheeled the snot" out of mine, I stayed comfortably within my limits because I don't like field repairs in the dark. Don't really like them in the daylight for that matter!
Also broke the hinge on my toolbox, looks like I need to weld on some better ones.

Finally got to test out the new suspension. Worked awesome, just a few bugs to work out and it'll be tight!
Here's what I was going for(not my truck):

Here's me on Saturday, the front didn't stuff as much because of the terrain:

I couldn't have been happier with the results! Everything flexed great and I was able to crawl up and over things with easy. No more getting cross-axled and having to goose it to get through.
The only thing I would add in the future is 33's and my ARB rear locker.

Gave the suspension a 100 mile highway test run and hit up about a mile of trails. It's is good to go for the long haul..
