Drove it 100 miles home, enjoyed it immensely, but am concerned that the rpms seem high for freeway speeds (3K rpms at 60mph). Installed a missing screw for the left side cup holder, topped off the coolant tank and windshield washer tank, lubed the hood release catch, door locks/latches, played with the stereo controls, etc. Plan on getting some universal fit floor mats, maybe some seat covers and steering wheel cover. Need to get an estimate on fixing the headliner, and figuring out what all the switches and buttons do on the dash and console. Certainly not the fastest SUV out there, but I'm sure it's a beast in its element!

Tore my front D2 flares off and took the sawzall and angle grinder to my front fenders after slamming a few Busch lights! I love Saturdays! Also started seeing what I need to do to allow room for my coilover hoops

Default Roar

Got rid of of the roar by cranking the front Radius arm and achieved more correction on the front pinion angle. Did crank the rear as well and happy to see the result. Pinion facing transfer case perfectly.

Opened some vents (Hood scoops) on the hood for more cooling on the V-TDi turbo.

Installed a new heater hose (drivers side that goes just under the intake manifold - the little 3/8" one). Broke a pitman arm puller when trying to replace the output seal on my power steering gear box. Picked up another one this morning and will finish the job tonight.

Also replaced fluids: front & rear diffs, transfer case. Will also change the oil again before I put my rack on for the summer.

Next in line is wiring my rear work lamp for when I go camping.

Replaced transmission
Replaced front drive shaft
Changed Transfer case and differentals fluids
Repaired exhaust leak
Repaired window ECU again
Installed aftermarket sound system Pioneer head unit JL Audio amp Kicker front speakers JL Audio Sub MB Quartz rear speakers
Replaced broken door lock clip so I hopefully wont loose above!
Replaced alternator
Repaired vaccum leak causing idling issue
Changed oil
Added 30mm spacers
Added 3057016 Hankok AT Tires

Going to black out the hood this weekend and silicone the sunroofs shut forever! Tired of the leaks!

Hopefully this will hold her for awhile. Some people including myself was wondering why I would keep dumping money in this rig. Well I also drive an M3 so I'm not the most practical guy around.
