Tossed on a grille guard, swapped rims and tires with a recently blown up RRC , drained tranny fluid and changed plugs. Gotta say, plugs are a huge difference. she runs so much better now. Word of caution, broke down yesterday. In stop and go traffic the old black cap on the radiator blew clean off. After a few shenaigans , including a trip to a dealer and a 2 mile walk to Autozone , i was back in business. If you havent swapped this plug out yet. Do it. Ive never seen anything like it. It left an indentation on the hood liner and sheared clean off and puked almost 2 gallons of coolant .The new ones are solid plastic , not hollow like the old. Gonna follow Spkies advice and get a copper plug as a full time replacement . Gonna follow Ed's advice and get a 180 stat and get the rad boored and flushed . These seem to be major weak spots on such a big engine.
I need to do the 180 or perhaps a 185 t-stat on mine. Copper plug is a good idea too.
Yesterday, took mine out for a 70 mile "greenlane" trip to Snowshoe Butte, Kamas Creek, and Chicken Ridge. It was all on BLM/forest service roads through the Egin Wilderness. Found some cool terrain and an old abandoned dam. Got snowed on half the time but had lots of fun.

Now that is one big pumpkin! Where did you find the axle? I mean we don't just have 110s sitting around in junkyards here in the states...

its definitely big, and you get used to dragging it on rocks haha. i got it a few years ago from a for sale ad in the local land rover club. the guy was selling a t-case out of the 110 aswell and i also snatched that up for the 1.4 high range gear. Both were installed on my old red discovery before, until it was totaled.
