Im 2 hours north of Atlanta but a local shop call Macs did an acid bath and rodded it out for 40 bucks.

Recored means all the guts and fins were replaced. I was in a time crunch otherwise I would have had the shop add another row.

yes. recored. i had that done too, with acid bath for $80.

what I wanted to know was what cost $350?

Put in the condenser fans and STARTED buffing out the age off the 1998 50th paint. "MJ" will have new make-up. Also Treating the leather again to get it soft before the redye of the seats and such.

Replaced HG, new head bolts, heads back on, push rods cleaned and put back, cleaned rocker assemb and put back and cleaned valve covers. Still got lots left to do. I'll hit it again sunday.

Recoring costs $350. I think you're thinking of rodding. There's no point to an acid bath when all the guts are being replaced anyways. $80 would even cover materials.

Replaced the condenser fans and straightened out the bent over condenser fins. The A/C head pressure loves the air flow. Off to the beach.
