Installed a 42" light bar the other day, pretty slick, quick & easy!

New rear bearings and seals for the rear hubs/axles. It was surprisingly easy actually on the Disco 1. Both sides done in just over 2 hours, and the complete kit for both sides was about $120 total.

Now I just have to hope the leak is actually gone, and I didn't ruin the new seals putting them in.... The hardest part of the whole thing is cleaning the oil and grease off the inside of the wheel on the side that was leaking.

My rotors were fine so I cleaned them up, and put new brake pads on both sides for good measure.

I'll try to post a little step by step with some pictures in the next week or so if anyone is interested.

Towed my brothers Kenner 19ft boat, has a 90merc. The load was boat, two yeti 65 iced, one med size cooler iced, boat cooler iced, him and I and our gear. She did good with the load. Takes long time to reach 4th gear but it was good. Slapped the kn filter in, can't tell if it runs better since my damn 02 sensor code is popping up on odb. I might have to change it, I was going to give it time but it's been a while now.

 

Started on the brakes and bleeding. Ran into a caliper snag, so will finish it up next week.

Working on right front 2003 Disco 2 ABS wheel sensor. Foolishly spent $1300 with an independent local Rover only garage. 3 AMIGOS back on after shop supposedly fixed it twice. Ordered new sensor. Old sensor was physically damaged. Need to be careful with the air gap with the new sensor. Breaker bar and impact driver have proved invaluable. Hope the new sensor will get the 3 Amigos to take a hike. Stay tuned. Oh yah RSW Solutions helped "prove" it was the same sensor that I spent $1300.

 

First my alternator bearings started howling, then my lights would pulse. Sorry alternator, you're not getting off that easy. I pulled it off, sprayed some grease into the bearings to quiet her down then cleaned the brushes. Took 45mins to do and now it's quietly charging Now to find a rangie alt to replace it

 

Went on a 3 day only off road camping trip. I pushed the truck further than I ever have. I did trails I never wanted to take on before. Truck did great. On the last night we got snow. 19 degrees and wind. Can't wait to do it again. I wonder if the P38 Could ever made to make a trip like this.
