I removed the maf, and IACV, cleaned the throttle body and IACV and the female side on the plenum, reinstalled and after a long highway drive I had no idling problem.
Well, technically it was yesterday but I got new front cover & oil pan gaskets installed, plus a new Airtex water pump. Test drove today. Seems like she's running ok. At least now there's no coolant pouring out of the front of the motor.
After 5 years of ownership, My son rode in the rear jump seat and steadied his prized possession, a 65 inch flat screen TV as it was being moved to his new living quarters.
first time anyone has used the jump seats and it worked flawlessly. He asked if it was legal to use them and I told him to put on his seat belt... He is 26 years old...
Changed the cps and planned on changing brake pads... Lug nut covers are a PITA. Had to use angle grinder to cut through and used flat head screwdrivers remove the stainless steel caps. Got 3 wheels finished and one cap of the 4th and gave up for today.
Tomorrow... I get to change and bleed brakes on the D2... then change the steering and tie rods on the D1.
