You put a FRAM filter on anything? Good luck with that, I hope the crank is OK when you change your bearings out.
Umm, did I miss something? I've never had any problems with Fram on my other cars. Has to be better than the PUROLATOR that was on there...

Damn, I just looked up the Fram Tough Guard, it's supposed to be for synthetic oil. Does anyone think that'll be an issue?

Also, I do not shop at Wallmart on principal.

Swapped out my old rock rashed muffler than finally sprouted a hole. Got a used pipe with a flowmaster welded up.

Also got my diff guard welded up.

Fram = garbage. Get a wix fliter - do a search on filter quality or just cut open a fram filter.

Point the boots up so the wires run up to valve cover.

The Mann Filter is sold at Pep Boys and other places also as a Purolator L40316.

Advance Auto's site says it does not fit the DI but they are wrong. It is an awesome filter. And it fits just fine.

My 8mm Kingsbornes inflated like balloons within 1000 miles. All 8 of them.

Hoping my Magnecors won't do the same, I plan on keeping them a very long time...

Old Kingsbornes:

New Magnecors with same routing:

actually mine are ngk's. they're supposed to be 8mm too but now I don't see that anywhere. i followed danny's lead on the ngk and champions. i'm following your guys lead on turning them around. thanks for saving another novice screw up.

i haven't run the truck yet but it started right up and felt great.

on to my bearings project.
