Talking Just the beginning

Our new Toybox

So today I bought my first 4X4, a Land Rover Disco...

Excited... its an oldie, a 1993 3.9l V8 petrol (lots of the latter I believe) I got it for a song, meaning - I have money left over to fix it up It appears sound, low milage

So today I got the speakers working, fixed the passenger door opener, set the clocks, fixed the rt rear indicator and got one bolt of the tow hitch loose (the other one may be a permanent feature, how do I loosen it?)

Very happy to join the disco family after all these years of wishing.

Default Fuel pumped replaced

Replaced the fuel pump on Tuesday, old pump was put out only 15 - 19 psi. Removed the swivel pin oil and went to one shot grease instead. Alright next item.

Not sure if it is a typo but the Wix filters I use are 1515 (aka Napa Gold 1515) and are <$10 on Amazon

I use the oversize Wix - 51515. They're $8.99 at O'Reilly's. Their site states they don't fit a D1, but they do.

Rolled 200,000miles on the odo. Figured I should do a fluid check after that just to be safe. Also knocked on a lot of wood.
