My wife and I are just back from a 3,000 mile round trip from Austin to Moab. It was an epic adventure. Our first stop was Crested Butte to visit friends. They have a 2012 Range Rover and took us on some crazy amazing trails. We spent three days driving trails, one up to 11,000 feet. Next we made our way out to Moab. OMG! I fell in love with this place! Gemini Bridges was our first trail followed by Long Canyon thru Pucker Pass. We did Schafer trail down thru Potash, Again... amazing views and the Landy never missed a beat. Arches, Canyonlands NP and Dead Horse SP are truly jewels. On Schafer I think we encountered two other vehicles. It was not crowded by any stretch. On our way out to Crested Butte we drove thru Rotan, NM. My wife yells out "Look at all those Disco!". Moss adventure out of Ft. Laurderdale, Fl is relocating to Raton, NM. We made a U-turn and stopped in and met Shayne & Sandra Young. They were VERY gracious hosts, showing us all around their new headquarters. Some VERY nice Land Rovers in their care. All in all it was an amazing trip. The Landy didn't like some of the steep 8-9% grades on the highway. Monarch Pass brought her to her knees and I had to drop it into lo-range to get over the pass but we did it. The gas out there is 90 octane at best so I bought some Lucas octane boost. I "think" it helped. difficult to tell really. Main thing is we made it back home without a single glitch! WOO HOO!!!

I found a 2003 Disco at one of the local u-pull & pay yards. The dash plastic was already gone, but I snagged all 5 of the door seals, an unbroken hatch door bin, an auto-dimming rear view mirror, and the console side mounted cup holders.

The door seals have already been installed and the cabin is much more quiet. The hatch door bin is black instead of tan, but I had the headliner replaced a while back with black fabric, so the black bin matches that vibe. I already have one of the auto-dimming rear views, but it doesn't work well. Hoping the new one is good.

replaced ABS pump relay, diagnosed which sensor (left front) was cranky. ordered replacement.

I was reminded that you can only clear one blink (ABS fault) code at a time. That process is a bit time consuming.

I bought a VOYAGER roof rack last week. It's off a D2 but fits pretty good and looks great. It's a bit noisy at 75-80mph though.
Need to get some driving lights next. The hi-lift jack adds some rattles too. I have a neoprene boot for it coming tomorrow and I hope that helps quiet it down. Also a have a lock for the jack coming tomorrow as well.

I was getting an intermittent P0441code - Evaporative Emission System Incorrect Purge Flow. I replaced the vapor canister purge solenoid control valve with a Kia/Hyundai equivalent part from Amazon.
The electrical connector was the same so it made for an easy installation.
I even repurposed the rubber isolator from the old purge valve so it's suspended factory style.

Finally got the castle nut to break free from the A-frame upper ball joint. Utilized a 30 mm stubby impact socket, torch, impact wrench, and finally a breaker bar to loosen it. Actually my son got it to break free. Oh, to be young again. :-)

We got one of the wishbone nuts to break free, but the other one won't budge. I hit it with Blaster and will let it soak this week. Will attempt to wrench on it more this weekend.

Replaced the rear sway bar ball joints and bushings.

I still can't get the that last wishbone nut to free up. I'm going to have to get my son back over to help with that.

I was experiencing some chirping and a low speed vibration, so I removed the driveshafts and ordered three Heavy Duty Spicer 53214X u-joints from RockAuto. I also ordered a new Hardy Spicer flex joint, nuts and bolts from Lucky8. I hope to receive the parts and be roadworthy by early next week.
