Looks great! You may consider the "Camel Cut" in the rear. I put 245's on my D1 and it just barely cleared the rear lower rocker (?) panels. When it got to the trail it made contact and bent the sheet metal at the mud flap mount.

The cut was super easy. I taped, marked and used a 3" cut-off wheel on my die-grinder. Shot of paint for good measure and no change in external appearance.

Put fresh solder on my window ECU circuit board. Now rear windows work, who ever figured that out I owe a 12 pack to.

Thanks. I wouldn't mind steel rims, but I've seen too many bent for me to make the switch. Plus I feel the stock alloys hold the bead better.
My problem now is my 265/75/16's looks WAY too small.

 

Bled brakes today, no bubbles. Rotors and pads have plenty of life left. Pedal still takes quite a bit of effort to come to a stop. Maybe I'm just used to my old BMW.

 

Currently working on fitting a S10 power steering pump on my D1. It's pretty straight forward for the most part but of course I had to complicate it by changing fittings and what not.

My D90 brake conversion should be here tomorrow and Hard Labor Creek rear bumper will be here either tomorrow or Friday.

I will post some pics up of install and after it's all on.

 

I think you're just used to your BMW. This weighs twice as much and has the same size brakes.

 

Repaired my stock subs with ebay foam inserts and an Elmer's glue stick. $6 repair, and they sound great.
