Did the 60k high milage Maint list plus went to 180 deg thermostat. Great way to eat up a afternoon. Plus gain confidence in my ride.

Put in a new stat this morning since the last one locked open after off-roading. It was a 180 locking, but went with a 195 normal stat this time since I'm convinced the ECU likes the slightly higher operating temp. While off-roading temps only climbed to <208, but after it locked open on the way home temps dropped way too low to around 130-140. All is good now.

The off-roading proved again how impressive these vehicles are nearly stock (255/70 A/T, no sways). We flew over rough terrain, over huge ruts, down steep rutted, densely forested trails, and up insanely steep and terrifying mountain sides. I wish I'd taken a picture of just how tall and steep these mountain sides were. Can't wait to go back next weekend after the new suspension system arrives and is installed.

Replaced the 2 A/C condenser fans because the motors were shot with ones from amazon. It was really easy, just order 2 ten inch fans. They move 1100 cfm of air! Thats going to help out when I need it for towing/a/c in 100+ temps.

Yes I am! hahah I got the D2 because I need another car for when the D1 is being worked on. I'm looking at buying a 2000 D2 parts truck. The person says it has a blown head gasket. Hmmmm.. I just want it for parts. I'm thinking $450?!

Mine flopped. My bottom rad hose clamp was loose, it popped off. One of my upper heater coolant hoses split today. Hopefully they were coincidental. Also, I'm glad I was close to home when it occured. I just ran to AutoZone and had them cut me some hose to replace the little booger with

I also noticed my hair wasn't cold whilst this was happening, what gives?
