Well ever since I did a HG job(back in June) its been sitting in the driveway. Did a fuel pressure check and its good at the rail. It has some combustion(the exhaust manifold gets hot after some cranking) but not enough. I may have clogged the injectors when I cleaned the intake. I should have left it alone.

Question: I used dielectric grease on the injector connections, is that ok?

I noticed some of the points had corrosion. Only two connections had it.

This sucks

Today I removed the cone air filter mod and went back stock, had not noticed mpg dramatic change, but will monitor. Quieter. At least now the IAT has a real mounting spot. Also swapped out 7 mm silicone wires for 8mm. PO had at least used dielectric on the coil wire ends. Seems smoother after warm up. Went to boneyard and got a replacement running board (tube style) - mine was rusted off at one end - if you don't have drain holes what do you think will happen... and dragged several parts of oak trees off that storm blew down, like 18 inch diameter branches. Easier to drag off to nearby field than cut up. I'm just lazy.

This evening before it got dark I managed to run a dedicated and fused 40 amp service from the battery, through the firewall grommet behind the brake diaphragm and into the cabin.

Used some welding lead cable to make the run.

I am working toward running it to the drivers side of the cargo area and mount a new fuse block behind the tail light access cover.

Got plans for the stereo, aux power point and a few ham radios.
