Default Steering bind

Last night a block from home it felt as if my front end was wobly. After I pulled into my garage, I could not turn my steering wheel to the left. This morning I turned the steering wheel and heard a pop and now everything seems fine. I have 1 year old tie rod ends. I have the front end up in the air and everything seems fine-no binding. Any thoughts on what to could cause this? Its a 95 disco with 120,000 miles

Did you pull in straight to the garage or did you have to turn L/R into it?

Had to turn several times to get into the garage. This was after a 60 mile drive through the mountains. Drove it this morning around the parking lot and everything seems fine after the "pop" but I am afraid to drive it now
