Has anyone out there tried to rebuild their steering box. Mine has a small leak from somewhere and found a seal kit. Just wondered if it was an easy job? Thanks

 

Bump. Mines leaking like a faucet. Can anyone advise? Rebuild? Replace?

 

I bought a used part to replace my leaky steering box and this one turned out to be leakier.... So take that with a grain of salt. You can take the risk and roll craps like I did, or end up with a decent box. You could also drop the coin for a professionally reconditioned one.

I have some other projects to take care of, but my plan is to rebuild my original steering box.
