I did not buy the kit. This is a failed brand new box from a shoddy supplier. I replaced the o-ring with my old o-ring and have virtually stopped the leak. I am trying to find a new o-ring on my own time as I don't want to buy an entire kit or grossly overpay for it.

Good luck on yours. Wish I had mine rebuilt.

The kit I bought was only U$20..... Even if you just need one, at least it has the others "just in case"...

I don't see that on the site. I see the drop ball arm rebuild kit. It looks like the o-ring in the pic. Says $24 today and for RR's and Def's.

I like the front diff guard tho.

I do not have any pics...sorry. But, I can report that there are no leaks.

The rebuild process is straight forward. It all comes down to having all the right tools.

Diggin up an old post here, but I've been putting off resealin my box too. What tools did you need to complete the task? And how hard was it, I have to admit I'm a bit intimidated by this, I've never worked on one before. Do you need to remove pitman to do this? Any pointers would be great, thanx.
