Hi guys, I found a label under the carpet of my D1 the other day it reads

This label carries the steering lock number.
In the interest of security
this label must be removed
from the vehicle by owner.

Key No. xxxx

Any info about this would be helpful.

 

It's probably the key code for the lock. Using that number you can get replacement keys cut at most locksmiths shops.

Strange place to put it though. I'll have to check mine.
