Mike, before you loose that engine, send me your number so I can call you. Do not drive it in the mean time unless you want to buy an engine.

Mike is right, and the rest of us should have made it more clear - don't be driving this thing around town to buy parts, etc. Resolve this problem before driving it. When you say "started to overheat" you probably mean the guage was getting close to the top edge. If you had a scanner, you would see that the coolant temp was way over 230 degrees.... anything over 9:00 on the guage is reason for concern, topping out the guage is very, very bad. My coolant temp at 8:00 on the guage is 207.

Default Houston Rover Shop fixed my overheating

Update, Went to Land Rovers Unlimited on a refferal from Jeff from Houston Land Rovers Club and ixed it for under $300. Radiator was clogged. No need for tstat install. They took care of me and an amazing price. They had to do some extra clearing and didnt charge me for it. And the gave me AC service for $80. You guys were right and thnaks for all the troubleshooting. Saved me thousands at the stealership or side shops that do not have a clue!!!

Thanks for the feedback, and enjoy the rain, if that squall in the Gulf bends your way.
