Thanks for the good tips. Ill report next sat night since it sounds like ill be working on it a little at a time this week. What are the symptoms of a sheared output shaft on a tranny.. saw a few posts but have had zero experience with this topic

 

Failure of tcase? My case killed itself and did not make any noise but when I dropped it and got into it pieces of metal everywhere. Could not find the offending piece but yup chewed up teeth on gears and loads of chunked metal.
