Default Trans temp sensor T-fitting

I'm in limbo right now on my 4.0>4.6 rebuild waiting on parts to arrive (holiday shipping sucks). I'm doing other maintenance in the mean time, and while I have the trans fluid drained, I'd like to install a temp sensor (Glowshift) on the trans to cooler line. Does anyone know the size of this fitting and/or who may sell a T-fitting with a 1/8th NPT adapter?

It's looking like welding a bung into the pan may be the best option.

I plan on just putting a t fitting in the cooler line, its only a couple pounds of pressure, nothing a hose clamp can't handle.

Good idea, I went ahead and ordered the T-fitting from Glowshift and will get some trans hose from Napa.

Use the trans cooler "send" line, and just cut the rubber in half in a convenient spot to put the t fitting and hose clamp it in place. I'm going to do it to mine when I replace the radiator and all of the trans and oil cooler hoses in the spring, I have the gauge already installed.
