Default Turn signal/flasher issue

Hi all,

When I activate my turn signal(either direction) the trailer icon and the arrow flash on the dash.

Outside(either direction bring activated) both right and left side blinkers go on like I have my hazards on.

Anybody know what's going on?

Thanks

I think you may have a bulb out or a loose connection at one of the terminals. Check all bulbs to make sure there good and tight. Then, check all wired connections to the bulb.

I had a similar issue turns out I had a loose connection.

What Coors said. I have this issue right now and its due to a corroded wire harness on the rear-right bumper signal, $13 replacement being picked up tomorrow to solve my issue.

So, there was an aftermarket tow wiring harness with a central box that was tied into the rear lights. I removed it and the problem was solved!!!

Thanks for the clues.
