Default very weird 02 sensor with UG

Hey y'all:
I got my UG installed. cool stuff.

I've got a question though:
I wanted to see what sort of change it'd register, and what it'd look like.... so I disconnected the wiring on the one that I figured would be easiest: Right Rear. Which, If I understand correctly should be Bank 2, Sensor 2.

but the one that changed on the UG was bank 1, sensor 1.

WT HELL ?

You have to tell the UG what sensor is what.
It only knows what the readings are, it has no idea which ones are which.
In the gauges set up menu.

well.... to quote my favorite movie: "That don't make NO SENSE!"

if I understand correctly (and I'm looking at the manual right now) it DOES know which one is which. And it names them as such. I'm simply telling the UG where to display them on the screen.

right?

else; how the hell would I know which one was which?

So you removed driver or passenger side O2 sensor? The front two sensors are easy to switch, but the rear would be much more difficult.

I didn't remove either, but I unplugged (from its connector) the rear on the passenger side.
