vibration in steering
i removed the harmonic wheel on front diff and vibration is much worse
we drove onto a lift and jacked up by the axles , vibration is not the driveshaft, it is coming from the hubs, vibrating the track bar and steering wheel, i tried rotate and balance tires no change, so i dont know if its the 3rd, or cv going bad or ????
i have changed wheel bearings and races and rotors , back in fall, serviced the rears last week and there is oo in the cv housings
tires on the front were chopped on inside and outside
ideas?

starts around 35? mph sort of becomes less noticiable at faster speeds, i have ruled out tires as i had this jacked off the ground and balanced tires and still was doing it on the lift, ie there was no rolling resistance on the tires
i am sure i need to adjust the castor since i can look at the diff and see the pinion pitched up from the lift
when we had it on the lift i could put my hand on the axle housing with no real vibration there, only the track bar and drag link were vibrating
now i did the wheel bearings, is there another bearing near the swivel housing that could be going bad or should i expect cv failure soon? i am not hearing any odd noises like in a front wheel drive with failing cv

yeah there is no noise with this, i know a car cv going knocks when turning, guessing these do similar, i did not do the stub bearings iirc
this vibration seems more under power then coasting
i have the long drive home to n.j. this afternoon so i will try to pay more attention to characteristics
definitly seems worse starting 30-35 mph to 45ish ? while accelerating thin fades back out to slight vibration as i go faster
this is why we ran it on the lift, wheels up, to be sure it was not a drive shaft or transfercase issue
stub bearings in the housing? like i pull the axle and swivel ball and its in there with a seal right?
