Default water pump gaskets?

Found a leak for the coolant, looks like its coming from the water pump

Attached is a picture, arrows point to where i'm seeing wet, both sides of the water pump appear to be moist, but I actually saw signs of "clean" coolant on drivers side bump

Simple pull off, clean and RTV good enough for this?

Any thoughts on the upper puddle?

If you have coolant where the top arrow is that could be from valley pan gasket below the intake. There is a water pump gasket between the WP and the front cover, and another gasket that colant passes thruy between the front cover and the block. A pressure tester borrowed from parts store will pump this up and make it leak so it is easy to find.

The lower leak seems to be coming from the block end thats where i saw the nice "clean" green coolant.

Valley pan gasket is a semi-common issue if i remember right?

Yep. has coolant path at all four corners. Two in back are blocked off by intake, but the heads still bring coolant to that spot. Heads are "universal", not left/right.

Yeah, had that issue with my chevy 4.3... Cept the "mechanic" that did that job reversed the intake gaskets(gaskets didnt have openings for both holes...) and plugged the front ports.......... heh

this isn't a major concern at this point, but will after i get the noise figured out, thanks for the feedback
