Default Water Pump Help

Its time for a new water pump, leak + costant sqeek.

Are they all the same? Certain brands I should look for?

I have never done a water pump, I hope its not too difficult.

I ordered my water pump from RovahFarm. He got me the right pump at one of the cheapest prices I could find at the time. I don't actually think there is anything wrong with the one I pulled I was just moving through the various parts of the cooling system trying to clear up my overheat problem. It looked fairly new when I pulled it. Anyway try Trevor over there at RovahFarm. As for the replace it is pretty simple. Take a look at the RAVE as you already know. With all the work you did replacing the gaskets and cleaning up your engine you won't have a problem with this one. It took me maybe an hour and I was doing several other things at the same time. The most time consuming part for me was getting the old gasket off. That was liking chiseling concrete. Good luck spence.

x3 for rovahfarm. I did mine 3-4 months ago, I thought easy. Remove shroud, remove fan and clutch, remove belt and tensioner pully. A bunch of bolts on the pump itself and its off

I am about 98% sure I went with the all parts. Seemed like solid construction and no problems out of it.
