Was flipping through the electric troubleshooting manual to solve my radio installation issue and ran across these. have been wondering for a while what the two clips are under the hood by the glass and now i see there should be these two pin connectors (part C121 and C122) on each side. any ideas?

 

They are for the heated front windscreen, or rather the electrical connector for the heated windscreen, which was never available in the US.

 

I didn't know that they weren't available on D1 in the US. A friend used to have a 1990 RRC that had it... I always thought it was cool. So when my D2 needed a new windshield, I upgraded. Not that I need it in Arkansas, but the price wasn't too much difference aftermarket.... hopefully it doesn't leak
