I just replaced the plugs on my newly acquired Jeep GC Laredo with inline 6. I was getting 16.4mpg average in full time 4X4 due to our daily dose of lake effect snows.
Just when I thought I'd seen it all I pulled these outta the motor, a new one for comparison is provided with the correct .035 gap for copper. It ran very well, smooth, which says allot about COP. Should be good for another gallon per mile now....
Prior to my ownership the motor overheated. The head was taken off for head gasket and magna fluxing. After seeing these and several other major wrongs that I've corrected I told my buddy to sue the garage he took this Jeep to.
I've never and I've been wrenching for forty years. The motor ran so so smooth it was hard to tell until it got really cold, like 10*F in the early mornings here. I was getting 18+ mpg average..... mind blowing. Says a lot about how progressive the BCU is. No CELS or any other complaints other than the cold starts. The garage my pal took it to is gonna get a letter from Ted Kaczynski.

I'm not sure just what I'm gonna do yet. BBB or States Attorney General are two I'd like to sing to. I have pics and receipts but the problem is I didn't pay them to work on it (nor would I). I might get my money back on parts I've installed though.....hmmm. A Jeep for free......
I did not know this but the thirds casting is aluminum. I have a Dana 44a! Bummer.
