I THINK THOSE PIX WERE OF THE BACK?...but they are the same STUD ends that hold the washers.......
i boiled them for a few minutes....grabbed out with tongs(once out of boiling water you can handle them there hot but not blister yer finger HOT) ....then SNAP them over the STUD.
IF YA NEED PM me and i can give you my cell #

pic attached is of the tools needed LESS-pan to boil in and tongs

when you boil the washers.....it may not SNAP on the 1st time a couple took 3-4-5 times ...if they don't go on.,...dunk back in pot and keep boiling...

ANOTHER TIP : on the 10mm socket to take door handle/grip on....stuff some paper or tape in there so more threads stick out of socket

I WILL POST A FEW MORE PICS IN A FEW....MAY HELP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE

then i took bolt out of one side of the RAIL the washers ride in.......

to get the original out and the NEW in.....i had to pry the ends of RAIL out....they were PINCHED at top and bottom at ends...i used a SMALL pair of channel locks....worked like a champ ..and did this still bolted in the door!!!!
once pryed out ends....slide the old off rail......

BOIL NEW...INSTALL ON REGULATOR ARM

slide on add the bolt back in rail end...pinch end if ya want...bolt stops it anywho........

put power harness on....
bolt in reg. with 4 bolts......grease up things.....
pretty much done

the door panel clips pop on and off door and the panel they slide on...

i would like to add one thing.........
on the FRONT DRIVER DOOR.....
the UPPER RAIL(that new washers will slide in)
the rail has a KEY HOLE near the middle of rail....just like on the ENDs, where the bolt goes to hold it in.............
after installing washers....my STUD END that hold washers on was worn, from wear before.... SO IT WOULD DROP IN AND BIND IN THIS HOLE!!!!!!!!!
to fix this......i found a washer(STEEL) that fit in bigger round end of KEY HOLE. AND WELDED IT IN PLACE FROM THE BACK!....then ground it smooth.
it still has a hole were smaller part of KEY HOLE and the center of the washer....but they do not interfere with STUD when it slides....(they are too small)

pic of a KEY HOLE with bolt in

Without a doubt the GREATEST automotive fix EVER! I visited my local Lowe's Home Repair Store, found the Hillman washers in Specialty Fasteners section (I think it was aisle 1), boiled two and snapped them on, lubed the track and my window was working again! I have to brag ... I did the whole thing without removing the regulator. It was a tight squeeze, but I was able to just remove the door panel and inside door latch, removed the track on the window, snapped on the washers (took about 3 attempts on the second one), then bolted all back together. JUNEBUG (or whoever may have invented this fix) you are my new best friend :-)

Boiling them is the key. This fix has been around for a while and it works great. My rear windows are on 3 years. I actually use two of the washers for added strength and there is room in the track.
