You don't need to mess with the lock/latch stuff at all.

- lower the window almost to the bottom till you can get to the bolts on the window rail
- remove the bolts on the rail
- pull the window up and tape to the frame

TOM R - don't rile yourself up...its really not very difficult

not riled up just like to see what is being used for the repair, I have repaired my pass rear one with some (I think ford bushings) other companies bushings and the drivers front I used a good reg from a disco 2 it is nice to know what is out there as alternatives

The rears are easy. They only have one roller and one track. The fronts have two rollers and two tracks. It honestly sounds harder reading it than it is. And I just did mine.

I used a bottom of a chair I found in an Ace Hardware store. It's a studded round plastic wheel. You would normally use it to adjust the height of a desk or chair. I simply filed the thickness down a bit and drilled the old roller rivet off the regulator and bolted the wheel to it. Greased the track w white grease. Works great. All for .98.

Ill take a picture of the nylon washers tomorrow. They come 6 or 8 to a bag. I used two on each track. 3 years and still holding strong.
