Hi guys, first post. Just had a simple question that I couldn't find the answer to with a search. It looks like the master window switch panel on the center console didn't change from the D1 to the D2, but I know that almost nothing is interchangeable between the two trucks, so I thought I would check before I order a wood grain panel from e-bay and find out it doesn't snap in place. Thanks for the help!

 

they are the same part number.....but don't buy it off ebay, but it from me.

@Best4x4 Sorry I was using a previous thread for reference on the sweeping statement about swapable parts. Not a long thread, but the general consensus was that sunroof parts, rear-view mirrors, and a few other odds and ends where swapable. But that most of the other thing were not worth the time/energy. If you know anything else that snaps into a D1 without alteration I would love to know for future reference.

Dash, gauge cluster bezel, center dash bezel, misc dash parts, window regulators, window motors, (plugs are different but that normally unplugs directly at the motor itself unless aftermarket). Rear D2 AC slider= slider works on D1 main HVAC control head. Center console lid, window bezel, and I’m almost 90% sure a D2 steering wheel will work on a D2. Plenty of proof on the Grand Tour when they drove a brick, wood, and meat D1 which a few had D2 steering wheels but D1 wheels. SRS clock spring is the same so it should swap over.

Few other things swap back n forth enough you can make a hybrid D1 or hybrid D2 if you wanted to.
