Default @002 Discovery 2

Having issues with O2 sensors. I replaced all sensors up stream and down stream. My problem is I don't seem to be getting any readings from the UP stream sensor on bank 2 (passenger side) . I have an Ultra Gauge hooked up to OBD port. When I start the vehicle O2 readings come up ,but within 10 seconds the readings for the upstream sensor bank 2 goes to zero. I also have one of the ILand code reader from British Atlantic, and it indicates the sensor is not working. I have put 2 new sensors in the vehicle...same results???...I am thinking I have a short or something in the wires upstream of the sensor, in the harness. Is ther a way to check these wires, say with a volt meter? and see if one is grounded or broken. Had head gaskets replaced 2 years ago looks as if the mechanic wedged the wires of the harness between the valve cover and the lifting rind for the motor....i guess these wire could have slowly worn thru and are shorting out or simply not connected. Any help appreciated.

What sensors did you install? Check wiring

Yes, having a multi meter with long leads helps.

You will have to unplug the right front O2 sensor connector as well as the C0635 connector from the ECU. This is found under the glove box to the outside of the car. (you don't have to take out the glovebox but only the panel below it and the kick panel.

See attached PDF for the wiring diagram
