03 disco door ?s! Locks, alarm, amigo need your guys help.
Alright with the hardest first:
Tha amigos are renting a spot on my instrument cluster and Id like to evict them they are also partying with the brake light (univited guest).
Apparently the previous owner said he had the sensors checked and they were good that apparently its a check valve or something to that nature in the abs box and I read a little here and there that there is a go around fix for this!
1?: So is there and what link to explain???
ALSO he said it needed a slabs ECU or thats what the dealer or independent told him
2?: how can I verify and is there a huge diffence between the traction control working and not that would make it worth it?
Door locks and alarm:
When I went to look at the disco the battery was dead and the alarm was making a noise like it was shot in the head sounded pretty funny and warped weooeoewwoooeeoeeoo mumbled and not enough juice to speak up. Now after the incident the door locks didnt work till I hit the dash button and now they auto lock when 4mph+ and unlock when turning off however the key fobb no loger unlocks or turns the alarm on it lights up and I stuck a new battery in as well but no go.
The driverside keyhole wont unlock or lock the door theres no resistance at all on the key like its been disconnected from there but the actuators are new and work fine.
So how do I get the key to lock/unlock and arm the alarm again, is there a sequence I need to do to reset the alarm possibly from the car battery being completely dead for a bit???
Thanks in advance and I hope to have a decent ownership of this vehicle with little maintenance after fixing it or atleast replacing certain problematic parts with better ones to avoid constant changing.
Thanks guys and happy holidays, Travis

A bit too much to tackle in one post, but I'll help where I can.
If there is in an ABS problem, then all three lamps will be on. And, if it's a simple as the shuttle valve, there is a cheap work around. There's a link buried in the "How to" sticky at the top of the page.
I'm not sure about the locks, but I'd make sure that your battery and connections are good. I've read that cycling the key in the lock a few times might help, too.
I'm also not sure about your's SLABs issue...but taking care of the shuttle valve (should that, indeed, be your problem) might take care of that as well.

Yeah sorry for the barage of ?s and issues its not bad just 1 or 2 items total and not worth getting all freaked out by. the disco runs great love the looks ride and handling plus the wife likes it alot more than my prerun/race truck I just sold LOL
Yeah Im mainly concerned with the 3 amigos first and foremost tehn the lock is a small issue the alarm again is not a huge factor at this point. I used to own a car audio / custom shop for a long time so digging into stuff is a chore but not a total PITA.
Ill try and dig the bypass fix for the shuttle and if its still on then its possibly the slabs which at 40k makes no sense lol

First with the ABS, do your brakes squeak , AT ALL? If you throw a panic stop from 30 MPH, can you feel the ABS pulsate thru the brake pedal?
As for the alarm, I am confused as to what is now wrong or you want fixed, give me a one line short version.
