Default 03 Disco Drivers side legroom

I purchased a 03 Disco on Friday 09/12/2008. While driving it up from Fredericksburg, VA to southern NJ where I live, I took notice that even with the seat all the way back I had what seemed to me really cramped legroom. I am 6'2" and 250 lbs. I checked, and the seat works fine (goes all the way back, up and down. etc). Other than that, and few minor problems (horn isn't working and the cruise control will not work, needs tires). I really like it. I've owned a Jeep Sahara since 98 and have a 06 Commander Overland. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated!

If you do a search on the LRRF, you will find a deatiled posting on how to rebuild the tracks to give you more room.
The cruise control issue is a leaking vacuum line.

Do you have powered or manual seats? If they are manual you can flip the tracks 180*, there's a write-up on DiscoWeb that covers a D1. If you have powered seats you can follow this write-up (which I did just a few weeks ago) on myrovers.com. The pics are broken on that page so here's a link to the gallery page that has them. I don't think Gary has this on LRRF.

I have power seats. I took a look at your pictures and it looks simple enough. Thanks much for your help, it's greatly appreciated!

After the install I needed to add another nut (on the right side) because the bracket was bowing upwards and caused the seat to not move. Here's a pic of the bracket with the added nut.
