Default 03 Disco oil pump question!

I have owned a 2003 HSE7 for two years, I have put 40,000 miles on it and today discovered that it falls with in the VIN for bad oil pumps. It has 151k on the clock and has never given any problems. Is it possible that the oil pump was replaced on a re-call?

What should I do to check this out, should I replace the oil pump?

Thanks

I wouldn't worry about it, at that mileage. You may want to install an oil pressure gauge, but that would probably be a good idea on anything. I still haven't done it yet.

Most fail early in life, between 20-50k miles. Yours is on the safe side.
