'03 power steering pump on '01?

Does anyone know if a power steering pump from an 03 and up Disco II is the same and the one from an 01? I want to replace mine and found one cheap, just wanted to be sure it will work. Thanks

They will work, how much is the one you found, new or used and how many miles on it?

make sure you pull the fan off at the start of the job. It is a HUGE time saver. I say this because i just learned the hard way. Remember to use blue lock tight on the threads of the pullies.

I can get the pump off an 03 with 65k miles for 60 bucks locally. Mine has a bad whine and I thought for that price it would be worth a shot to fix it.
