Default 04 Disco lags at 70mph.

I have a 04 Disco HSE. Many upgrades mainly offroad and suspension to many to
mention and topend rebuilt. Accelleration seems smooth no choppy shifting. On the highway from 55-70 seems to lag even when floored. Doesnt seem to kick into passing mode or downshift to accellerate. Not sure if this is an issue due to I usually used it for towing and didnt go too much above 55 on avg. Just throwing this out there before I have a Land Rover Specialist take a look.

Mine was acting like this. No codes but I replaced my TPS and it improved dramatically.

Does it feel like the engine cutting out for a second under heavy throttle?

Did you put larger diameter tires on? This can have a huge impact on the highway drivability. I went with just 1" larger diameter tire and my 01 is really sluggish on the highway. If you want the performance back you might have to install 4:11 gears if you changed the diameter much.

AUTOMATIC GEARBOX - ZF4HP22 - 24
44-18 DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
Kickdown
The EAT ECU monitors the input of the throttle position sensor to determine when kickdown is required. When it
detects a kickdown situation, the EAT ECU immediately initiates a down shift provided the target gear will not cause
the engine speed limit to be exceeded.

ELECTRONIC CONTROL
The TCM is located under the left hand front
seat. Using information from the engine
management ECM, together with its own
sensors, the TCM selects the most suitable gear.
Ÿ The gear is selected depends on certain
variables, including:
Ÿ Road speed (from output shaft sensor)
Ÿ Throttle angle (from engine management)

Ÿ Engine Torque (from engine management)
Ÿ Altitude (from engine management)
Ÿ Selector position (from position switch)

The TCM controls gear selection by directing
pressurized transmission fluid to the required
clutch assembly. This is achieved by controlling
the operation of two shift solenoids incorporated
within the valve block.
Sounds like you may have a AT issue. Have tried to leave in 3rd to see if acceleration 55-75 is better? If floored at 55 you should get quick downshift and rapid acceleration to 75. If you have good Specialist they should be able to troubleshoot and fix it for you. They would likely want to service the trans taking a look at the fluid, filter and fluid change. If you desire to do the work yourself we should be able to help you out.
