Default 04 Disco time for some brakes!

So I am getting pulsating sensation on the pedal when I brake normally to a stop sign. Is this a worn front or rear rotors? I just plan to change all four rotors and pads.

From the consensus of the forum, EBC greestuff pads seems to work great. I just cannot afford the EBC kit from AB now but am looking for the standard rotors with the greenstuff pads.

Does the EBC greenstuff pads work with the standard rotors or are better much paired with the drilled/slotted type rotors? If not, I will go with the FEREDO kit from AB.

-------------------

As for tools, I know we need the hand impact driver and what else? I have never done any work on cars or trucks before. Zero knowledge.

I think Disco Mike said 3 pints or 2 quarts of Dot4 fluid. Is there like a Dot4 Synthetic combination fluid. I understand that you might as well flush the brake system. Are there any instructions in how to flush the brake fluids? My RAVEcd is not operating.

Thanks everybody

Unless you drive like an idiot, then theres really no need for EBC brakes, pads or discs, standard fit items are good enough.

heres a write up on changing the brakes, same for the rear to,

Just changed the rear pads on a 2000 DII not 15 min ago, took longer to remove the wheels than to change the pads.
He bought LR pads, EBC's are nice but I agree not needed.
Just go to your local NAPA and buy the best ones they offer.

For those who need step-by-step instructions for brake job. Check this write-up, its for Range Rover but its too similar.

I will start this myself when the parts arrives.
