Default 04 Disco wet left front footwell

A few weeks ago after a torrential rain there was a literal lake in the left front footwell of my Disco. Like, squishing up around the rubber mat kind of lake. We pulled a bunch of trim and peeled the carpet back to let it dry. The water is only on the extreme left side, at the door trim. No coolant smell, just water. We have pulled the headliner and all of the upper trim. The sunroof drains are dry and there is no evidence of leaks on the underside of the headliner. The A pillars are dry. There was a pretty good warp in the windshield cowl/plenum, and we replaced it weekend before last. We've checked the a/c drains up underneath the truck and they were clean and dry. Last night we got another torrential rain. I've got water again, though significantly less this time. There is no evidence of water or leaks up toward the fire wall, it is just at the extreme left edge by the door trim. Are we missing something? Any ideas?

Put Vaseline on the rubber seal and close the door. You will be able to see if your door seal is the issue. If not it's probally a leaking windshield on that side. If you were to take your a pillar trim off, you might be able to reseal it. If your door seal is fine, I would reccomend having a friend spray the crap out of it while you had the headliner down and the interior a pillar trim off.

The trim is still all out. We undercoated the headliner and have been waiting for the smell to dissipate. Saturday morning's project will be me sitting inside and my husband spraying the hell out of it with a hose. I hadn't thought of the door seal!

Yea. It could be the upper portion and it is adjustable. You just have to remove the door card and then you have 2 nuts inside the door and then the big torx head bolts at the top of the door. You can always adjust the striker and the hinges to create a tighter fit. I had the same issue and that's all how I fixed mine
