I was wondering if anybody can help me when i bought my 04 disco they put new rotors on the front and i know it takes sum time for them to work in and stop squealing, It's been over a month now and i just got back from a road trip and the squeal has gottin worse. it only seems to be on the front right side. now almost embarasing to drive what can i do???

my brakes were making some hellacious noise on the trails yesterday, especially when i had to reverse... but it stopped, so i guess the bus fixed itself... let us know if the discs sort it out for your, i had to replace my rear discs, calipers, and pads about four months ago... not a very enjoyable time with a D1

Last trail I was on by the end my brakes were squealing because of all the dust. A good power wash when I got back to the house and the squealing was gone.
My rotors on both ends are getting close to needing replaced but they'll last through the summer. I figure after trail season I'll replace them.

for a time after i did my pads i was spraying the rotors and calipers down with brake cleaner to remove the dust. after a few weeks it was all better.
