I have the L8 propshaft, It's been fine for a few years now.

Does your device have a phone? L8 has one... You can call them on it if you have that technology. That way you won't have to wait for a reply.

I went on the lucky 8 website and they no longer carry the OEM model

they have one replacement by Motorad and then there is a black one

The only place I found that has the gray unit you mentioned is the place below please have a look and let me know if that’s the part

@Oshawa_D2 Yup the grey has a softer spring, still a LR part. I ran one for a couple of years my temps were more consistent than with black I am currently running. With the grey I ran 188 on the move 197 - 201 hot idle at lights, 183 down long hills. My black has a larger range 183 -194 in general rarely breaks 195 at idle on pavement. Hard off roading I can get up to 201, long steep hills in low range, long down hills I hit 177 regularly. I am switching to an inline when I down my winter work or next spring depends on how much bad weather we get.

If you cant find the genuine TD5 gray stat (lots of reputable eBay sellers carry this), then the inline thermostat mod is honestly your best bet, in my opinion.
