Default 1995 Discovery Fuel Pump Wiring Harness

I took my '95 discovery to an electrical diagnosis shop because someting was killing the battery at night. They determined it was something between the fuel pump relay and the pump, but both are good. i can see wire these wires connect to the pump, but cannot see where they go from there. Does any know where i can find these wires and where exactly is the relay located? you can even text me. James 312-404-2842

James - post over in the D1 forum.

I believe their is also an inertia switch between the relay and the fuel pump.

Where are you located?

I don't recommend posting your cell number on an open forum.

Do you have Disco at home?

Do you have a battery charger?

wouldn't the inertia switch prevent the vehicle from running at all? mine sometimes lopes in idle, or cuts off ( sometimes), the fuel gauge reads no fuel ( sometimes)

Generally yes..........it is meant to cut the power to the fuel pump in the event of an accident.

Does this work? The fuel pump and sending unit should not be receiving any power with the key off.
