Right rear wheel well on the Frame, just forward of the tire.

Plan on using alot of penetrating fluid on the fittings, they are usually stuck.

While you are at it, is the filter for a 2000 Disco II in the same place? At what mileage intervals is the filter due to be replaced. Are there any tricks or obstacle in replacing the filter.

No the Disco II has no fuel filter per say it has for lack of a better description it has a filter bag that the fuel pump is inside of and only gets changed when the fuel pump is replaced every 20,000 miles or so.

Ok just kidding about the 20,000 miles.
